On 21 September, some of those who took part in the Karmen Etxalarkoa pastorala, together with some of the villagers, launched the Karmen Etxalarkoa route. A total of 60 people took part in the route from the village to Errotxen borda.
This initiative, like the pastoral, has been carried out in "auzolan" (community work) by some members of the pastoral with the profits obtained from the shows held in 2017. In this way, the presence of Karmen Etxalarkoa is made known both to the residents of Etxalar and to visitors.
